Keeping your fleet of buses and trucks in the top mechanical condition helps maximize your fuel efficiency while minimizing pollutants. Swiftrans will be happy to manage your fleet of vehicles and looking at modern environmentally friendly options, from hybrid and hydrogen buses, to CNG, LNG, and bio-diesel. Alternative fuels that we have identified include compressed natural gas, biodiesel, propane and low sulfur diesel. We at Swiftrans believe in recycling all waste products, whether it is from worn tires to oil based products.
Swiftrans is dedicated to keeping your fleet of Vehicles in peak condition, we provide a daily cleaning of the interior and exterior to keep your bus clean and sanitary for your passengers. Inspections on each and every vehicle in your fleet, is performed on a daily basis. A 14 point inspection, checking all of the fluid levels, brakes, transmission, wiper washer, belts, hoses, filters, cooling system, lamps and battery, is performed by one of our certified technicians.
Driver Training
All of our drivers are trained to handle any situation that they may face on the road whether it is re-routing through traffic congestion or driving in poor weather conditions. Every Swiftrans driver is properly trained and licensed with a clean driving record. All of our drivers are First Aid/ CPR certified through an approved Ontario First Aid Training organization.
Driver Communication
Communication with our drivers is very important at Swiftrans we are able to communicate with all of our drivers at any time throughout the day. We will equip your vehicle with a two-way radio so we can deliver any messages from your head office to our drivers we also equip our drivers with a mobile telephone just to re assure communication at all times.
Road Side Breakdowns
In the occurrence of a roadside break down there are multiple ways how we can deal with the matter.
Driver notifies Swiftrans dispatch office, Swiftrans dispatch notifies the client. Swiftrans sends mobile repair unit to diagnose the bus, if the problem is a minor repair (battery, disconnected fuse, wiring problem,) the vehicle can be repaired on site under 30 minutes or less with consent from the client.
If the vehicle can not be repaired under that time or the client does not authorize consent of a road side repair we will send a back up vehicle either from your fleet or our fleet depending on the circumstance, and arrange for a tow truck when all of your passengers are transported safely to a running vehicle, and are on route.
